It was 1991 and Dr. Robert Collett, a veterinarian, wasn't feeling well. After being diagnosed as a Type II Diabetic, 50 plus pounds overweight with skyrocketing cholesterol, Dr. Collett was inspired to research just what went wrong with his health and how he could go about solving it . . .?naturally

What Dr. Collett discovered is that our modern-day diet of processed, high-fat and preserved foods are almost completely deficient in Omega 3, also known as the "good fat."? After switching to a diet rich Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EFA's) derived from flaxseed, Dr. Collett was able to get off high blood pressure medication and insulin, lost 60 pounds and dropped his cholesterol from 350 to 170.? Many of the degenerative conditions that affect humans, Dr. Collett noticed, were also present in the animals he treated at his practice: skin conditions, allergies, inflammation of joints, poor digestion, poor vascular health, and general lethargy.

"Hmm," thought Dr. Collett, "perhaps these same principles could be put to use in treating my patients."? The Missing Link^? was born.
